Our Acrylic Prints are exceptional fine print reproductions, enhanced and protected by flawless acrylic glass. The hand-polished acrylic glass pane produces a mesmeric depth effect – the shimmering reflections will make your acrylic photo print seem to come alive. Unlike glass, acrylic is lighter and more durable, and it does not shatter.
Our acrylic prints are bright and glossy looking, with light reflecting through the acrylic sheet onto the image itself. They are made by printing the photographic image, with a UV professional printer, onto the acrylic art sheet. We offer 4mm acrylic prints in the floating style. This means that the acrylic art does not have distracting stand-off bolts in each corner to attach to the wall. Our acrylic prints have a custom bracket frame system on the rear of the print, which makes the finished acrylic print stand off from the wall. This creates the illusion of it floating off from the wall. It’s a truly stunning look.

What is the purpose of UV printing?
As the printer distributes the ink onto the substrate, specially designed UV lights follow behind and cure the ink almost instantly. Because of this rapid curing process individual dots of wet ink do not get a chance to spread or soak into the substrate. This results in detailed and vibrant prints. UV curing also allows us to print directly onto nontraditional materials like acrylic, glass, and wood – virtually any substrate up to 2″ thick. In addition, UV cured inks are weather-resistant and resistant to fading. Most importantly, UV inks are low VOC and contain no solvents for a lower environmental impact.

Does UV printing fade?
With UV curable ink, the ink isn't absorbed by the material, like CMYK printing, so there's no smudging and no need for additional costly coatings. Another great thing about UV cured inks is that they are weather-resistant and are not prone to fading like canvas or paper.
